The quality engineer opens a record, and the person responsible sees the task on their own screen. When an auditor asks for a record, the company shows it from the system. If the business later moves to a custom system, the records carry over without re-entry.

Control plan and inspection
Control plans are defined per part and operation. The inspector runs incoming, in-process and final inspections to the plan and enters the measured values.
Nonconformance, 8D and CAPA
Internal, supplier and customer nonconformances are opened in one place. Each 8D step has an owner and a due date, and the corrective action stays open until it is closed.
Document control
Procedures, instructions and forms are kept under revision control, and a new revision is released after approval. The team on the floor sees only the latest revision.
Certificate archive
Material certificates are matched to lots and orders. Quality staff find any certificate by lot, order or certificate number.
Internal audit and competence
Audit plans, findings and closures are kept together. The competence matrix shows which jobs each person can do and which training is missing.
Calibration
Each gauge has its calibration schedule and certificates on its own record. The system warns when a gauge is due for calibration.
